Edward S. Deacon has been a litigator for over 25 years. He began his legal career as a defense attorney with the Bay Area firm Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe. In 1990, he and his family relocated to Davis and he joined Mr. Wilcoxen’s firm, then named Wilcoxen, Callahan, Montgomery & Harbison. Since that time, he has represented clients in state and federal courts in personal injury matters ranging from relatively minor injuries to catastrophic life-changing traumas, wrongful death, employment discrimination, nursing home negligence, products liability and civil rights claims. He has participated in numerous arbitrations, mediations and trials resulting in compensation for his clients from 5 to 7 figures.

Mr. Deacon attended Humboldt State College in Arcata, California. While in college, he was a member of the swimming and water polo teams and achieved All-American status in more than one swimming event. He attended law school at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987.
