On March 1, 1979, Daniel E. Wilcoxen opened his own office with two plaintiff cases and two defense cases. Within six weeks, he had referrals for nearly 90 more cases. In 1980, he purchased his own building and moved his practice to its current location at 2114 K Street in Sacramento. After the move, the firm went through various partner changes over the years, resulting in the current firm of Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP.
