At Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP, we are proud longtime supporters of the Sacramento Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (Sac ABOTA) Annual Golf Tournament, and we were excited to continue the tradition for the 2025 tournament held June 24th at Valley Hi Country Club. Our firm participated this year by sponsoring a hole and by enrolling a foursome to play in the event. These contributions help offset the cost of the event and increase the donations that can go to the chosen charity. This year the event brought together the region’s legal community in support of Albie Aware, which provides life-saving breast cancer test, prevention education, advocacy, and compassionate support.

The tournament, known for its collegial atmosphere and shared commitment to the principles of civil justice, took place once again on a beautifully manicured course, drawing trial lawyers, judges, and advocates from across Northern California. As longtime supporters of both ABOTA and the Sacramento legal community, we were proud to contribute to such a meaningful and well-attended gathering.

Leadership in the Legal Community

Our firm’s connection to ABOTA runs deep. Michelle C. Jenni, a partner at Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP, currently serves as President Elect of the Sacramento Chapter and represents the chapter nationally as a National Board Representative. Her leadership exemplifies our firm’s ongoing dedication to legal excellence, professionalism, and the promotion of civility within the legal field.

In addition to Ms. Jenni, several of our distinguished partners are also proud ABOTA members, including:

These memberships reflect our firm’s long-standing commitment to advocating for the highest standards of trial practice and ethical conduct.

Supporting ABOTA’s Mission

Founded in 1958, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is a national organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges. ABOTA is dedicated to preserving the right to civil jury trials as provided by the Seventh Amendment and promoting civility, integrity, and professionalism among members of the bar and judiciary. Events like the Sac ABOTA Golf Tournament provide a unique opportunity to come together outside the courtroom to strengthen our professional bonds and support the mission we all share — protecting access to justice and improving the practice of law.

Continuing the Tradition

As a firm, we are grateful to be part of a legal community that values excellence, integrity, and camaraderie. We thank Sac ABOTA for hosting another successful event and look forward to continuing our partnership in 2025 and beyond.
