The attorneys at Wilcoxen Callaham are all members of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association (CCTLA). Dan Wilcoxen and Shelley Jenni are past Presidents of the organization. Drew Widders is the current Treasurer and Marti Taylor is the current Parliamentarian of the organization. Each year the CCTLA holds a silent auction and fundraiser that benefits the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. Each year Wilcoxen Callaham donates to the event financially, with auction items and with volunteer efforts.
Each year at the event awards are handed out for the Joe Ramsey Professionalism in the Law Award and the Mort Friedman Humanitarian Award.
The Joe Ramsey Professionalism in the Law Award is given each year to a local attorney in recognition of their exemplary integrity, wisdom, helpfulness, legal skills and expertise. This year’s award winner was Walter Loving of Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP for his exemplary civility, integrity and professionalism in the law.
The Mort Friedman Humanitarian Award is given each year to a local attorney in recognition of their heart, soul and passion as a trial lawyer in service to the community. This year’s award winner was Dan Wilcoxen of Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP in recognition of his more than 50 years of service to the Sacramento community and his exemplary record as a humanitarian.
Wilcoxen Callaham is proud of Walter Loving and Dan Wilcoxen for being recognized by the CCTLA with these prestigious awards, and proud to continue to support the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services through financial donations and volunteer efforts.
